Yesterday we had to say the hardest of goodbyes to our beautiful Rosie π Our most loyal and best friend for almost 14 years, she will always have a special place in our hearts and memories. Run free Rosie, we will miss you so much β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
“There’s something missing in our home,
I feel it day and night,
I know it will take time and strength
Before things feel quite right.
But just for now, I need to mourn,
My heart — it needs to mend.
Though some may say it’s ‘just a dog’
I know I’ve lost a friend.
You brought such laughter to our home,
and richness to my days…
A constant friend through joy or loss,
With gentle loving ways.
Companion, pal, and confidante,
so playful, loving and true
My heart will always wear
the pawprints left by you…“

Really sorry to hear that Niall – I hope you all come through the other side of the grieving process in good shape. Love the pictures – a dog with real character.

I’m sorry for your lost. You know the only problem with dogs — they don’t live long enough.

So sorry, Niall. I’m guessing the pain is made even worse because she would have grown up alongside your young family. Tough times for you all. I’m sitting on the couch typing this with Bonnie at my hip, and on the other couch, Odi is sleeping (and farting). I can’t imagine losing either of them, but we know in our hearts that this is the deal we make. Take care.

100% true. The boys were just 3 and 5 when she came to us. Conor can’t ever remember her not being here π Give your two an extra hug from me β€οΈ

My condolences. I can only imagine the pain. The toughest of goodbyes for sure. I know I’ll be an absolute mess when the time comes to say goodbye to Zane. He’s getting older and I do think about it sometimes. πππ

Aww I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish they had longer lives, but it looks like she was living her best life in those photos β€οΈ

Ohh, this one hurts my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. The unconditional love of a pet is unlike anything else. These photos are beautiful, as was she.
